The Polytechnic College in Khentii province organized a round table meeting within the framework of the 3L4MOHS Project.
On March 21, 2025, within the framework of the 3L4MOHS project, the accredited Polytechnic College in Khentii province successfully organized a roundtable meeting on the methodology for opening and further sustainably operating the Digital Training Center for Occupational Safety and Health.


The main goals of the project are:
To support lifelong learning processes in Mongolian higher education institutions, to promote continuous education in businesses, and also to improve the occupational health and safety of these enterprises.
The meeting was attended by over 30 participants, both online and in person, including the management and managers of 4 schools and representatives of partner organizations.
These included: MUST (Mongolian University of Science and Technology), located in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, which is the leading Mongolian institution in the project. In addition, representing organizations operating in remote regions, Khovd University, Umnugovi Polytechnic College, and Khentii Polytechnic College participated.
Many useful proposals and recommendations emerged from this meeting, and the participating parties have already begun developing plans to incorporate and implement them in their respective activities.


Going forward:
The participants further discussed their potential for collaboration on issues such as:
Establishing "Lifelong Learning Centers" in Mongolian universities and introducing digital learning tools.
Creating a quality cultural approach to OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) training.
Supporting collaborative development between universities and industries.
Offering basic occupational health and safety training to industry workers through the Lifelong Learning Centers.
At the conclusion of the discussion, the participants agreed on the necessity of reaching a unified conclusion regarding the regulations and fees for conducting training activities at the digital training center.
The round table meeting organized within the framework of the 3L4MOHS project was successfully conducted and concluded. We express our gratitude to the guests and delegates who attended the opening ceremony and to all participants who took part in the discussion.
