Our Team...

The consortium comprises four Mongolian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), with two universities and two colleges. MUST, situated in Ulaanbaatar, the national capital, stands as Mongolia's leading technical university. The other three HEIs—KhSU, KhPC, and UPC—operate in remote regions, being relatively new or less experienced organizations. AHU NGO, dedicated to promoting Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), will oversee the coordination of the project's dissemination strategy. Both MUST and AHU will also collaborate to enhance capabilities in providing OHS auditing services to the industry.

Within the EU part of the consortium, the University of Patras (School of Medicine) leads as the project coordinator, joined by the University of Palermo and the University of Cadiz. Additionally, there is an experienced non-profit organization in CBHE (CRETHIDEV) and a consulting SME (GuruServices.BIZ). The participation of Mongolian stakeholders in co-designing educational structures, digitalizing resources through XR, gamification, and innovative pedagogical methods tailored for e-learning will significantly contribute to the modernization of Mongolian Higher Education.

The overarching objectives and ambitions include fostering Sustainable Development Goal 4 by introducing Lifelong Learning to Mongolian Higher Education, promoting a continuous education culture in Mongolian enterprises (SDG 9 & SDG 4), and advancing Occupational Health and Safety in Mongolian enterprises (SDG 3 & SDG 9). Additionally, the initiative aims to promote digital transformation and inclusion in Higher Education.

Key specific objectives and expected impacts encompass establishing Lifelong Learning Centres (LLCs) in Mongolian HEIs, introducing digital e-learning educational tools, setting a paradigm of quality culture, encouraging co-design between university and industrial stakeholders, and training industrial employees on OHS basics through the LLCs.
