Dissemination Activities of the 3L4MOHS Project

The 3L4MOHS (Lifelong Learning for Mongolia: Occupational Health & Safety) project, currently implemented in Mongolia, has successfully carried out several key dissemination activities. These initiatives have been instrumental in raising awareness about the project’s objectives and sharing valuable insights with local and international audiences.

ATEE Spring Conference 2024

From May 29th to June 1st, 2024, representatives from the University of Palermo (UNIPA) participated in the ATEE Spring Conference in Bergamo, Italy. During this conference, the UNIPA team presented the overarching goals and strategic direction of the 3L4MOHS project. The presentation also highlighted the work being conducted across the six work packages of the project, with a particular emphasis on sharing best practices from Europe's leading Lifelong Learning Centers.

Third International Conference of the Journal "Scuola Democratica"

Between June 3rd and 6th, 2024, the UNIPA team attended the Third International Conference of the journal "Scuola Democratica" in Cagliari, Italy. Their presentation, titled "Digital Transformation in Mongolian Higher Education: A European Perspective for Lifelong Learning," focused on the project's key goal of integrating digital learning methods, modernizing curricula, and enhancing educational equity across Mongolian higher education institutions.

National Conference in Siena

On February 22nd and 23rd, 2024, UNIPA participated in the national conference on "Research, Services, and Territorial Pedagogical Policies" held in Siena, Italy. The team presented on the educational reforms and societal impacts of the Occupational Health & Safety project in Mongolia. This presentation underscored the project's significant contribution to the improvement of Mongolia's education system.

Manufacturers' Discussion

On June 18th, 2024, representatives from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) delivered a presentation on occupational health and safety at a manufacturers' discussion organized by the Mongolian Leather Products Manufacturers Association in collaboration with MUST. This discussion provided a platform to highlight the project’s efforts in promoting workplace safety in the manufacturing sector.

"Standartgui Uildverlel" Documentary

On June 27th, 2024, representatives from MUST featured in the documentary "Standartgui Uildverlel" produced by HERAB Studio. In this documentary, they discussed occupational health and safety challenges within the light industry sector and provided insights into the 3L4MOHS project. This film has served as an important medium for raising public awareness about the project's impact and significance.

Teacher and staff training

The Western Regional School of the National University of Mongolia is successfully promoting the 3L4MOHS project by conducting training sessions for teachers, staff, and students and organizing training programs for employees of various government organizations.

Teaching Experience and Methodology Exhibition

Umnugovi Polytechnic College participated in the Teaching Experience and Methodology Exhibition, successfully promoting its project within the framework of the Lifelong Education Occupational Health and Safety Project in Mongolia. Through the adoption of innovative training methods, the college introduced a digital system, aimed at enhancing the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training system to support sustainable development. The college presented health and safety initiatives as part of its commitment to advancing educational and safety practices

Breakfast Meeting

Umnugovi Polytechnic College held a breakfast meeting and roundtable with partner organizations to present and promote its Occupational Health and Safety Project, which aims to establish a Lifelong Education Center. This event provided an official platform to introduce the project’s objectives and discuss collaborative efforts towards its successful implementation.

These dissemination activities have been vital in promoting the 3L4MOHS project's efforts to enhance occupational health and safety standards in Mongolia. By engaging with various stakeholders and utilizing diverse communication platforms, the project continues to foster meaningful dialogue and drive positive change within the Mongolian education and industrial sectors.
